Alums Honored by UNCF

Two Xavier alums have been honored by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) for their distinguished service to their alma mater and outstanding achievements in their professional, civic and community activities.

Dr. Elaine Parker Adams ’61, a retired educator and administrator in Houston TX, was presented the National Alumni Council (NCA) Outstanding Alumnus Award for Xavier at the NAC Leadership Conference held recently in Atlanta GA, while Keva Gwin ’00, senior medical science liaison for Shire Pharmaceuticals in Chicago IL, was presented the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award for Xavier.
